WBC head and shoulders above NAB when evaluating the safest of the banks. It is the most conservative and the only bank to have learned the lessons of the early 1990s.
NAB looking mildly better than they did a few weeks ago on the back of the recent capital raising.
Their UK exposure as well as the exhorbitant exposure to overseas is a concern. While they bought insurance recently on this, i dont believe it covered all of it.
