It’s an old dog with not many different tricks. Definitely not growing and it looks like it has a lot of headwinds and risks attached.
The newsflow of the Commission of Inquiry from Star Casino does not put NAB in a very good light.
Much better value elsewhere in the sector where the stocks have been more badly beaten up. As you know some of the stocks in the Australian banking sector are down by 33%, some more.
NAB would need significant NIM a expansion to grow and that looks like a far away dream.
