The real impact on the SP in particular in the banking sector will be when the trading figures of many businesses (1000x) will be reporting in few weeks and months their trading accounts.
Cancellation of so many venues will have a greater impact than Trump’s emergency declaration.
Less borrowing demand from the banks and narrow profit margins combined with investors having to settle margin calls, no vaccine for the near future, public at large would rather save cash than spending and investing’ for these reasons and more, cannot see NAB shares SP surging in the near future but only coming down with the rest of the market.
The stocks markets have jumped back only in the final half hour of trading ASX or DJ suspect quick manipulation but at the end of the day no substance for a recovery.
