Bank will not looking good if USA hike the rate too faster. 60% of total bank lending is mortgage that is highest. about 40% money is from oversea too..
One possible when USA rate go up, and Australia rate on hold. Australia dollar go down. Those borrow USA dollar invest in Australia housing will face rate hide and lose of exchange. Don't forget USA is bigger oversea investor in house.
