A Drill Stem Test (DST) is a flow test ... usually what they do initially to test flow then if warranted they go on to a production test. They had already encountered a couple of hundred metres of gas before the Basement and now they have gone deeper than planned and are doing a flow test ...sounds good to me. Its also very similar to what they did in the original discovery well Nabrajah #5...in terms of depths and amount of formation they are testing and the procedures done.
