I sort of think of central banks as bullion dealers and so it's no surprise that this ex banker is in on the game of trading bullion for profit - the CBs have God and Uncle Sam on their side keeping the USD up and making a buck trading gold on the side and then there is Nadler worried about his trading stock at Kitco getting too dear for the punters its a game that has worked well for him and his mates for ages evil? I dunno -bit like Joplin, the Pope or the Royal Family - guess it's all in the mind of the beholder
