G'day dbl
The ''truth'' is that ASS and PASS, will be removed from major Victorian development projects, in very large quantities.
The fact is that anyone who wishes to be involved in the safe storage of ASS and PASS, has to have jumped through the multiple hoops, of the relevant Vic government departments, and been granted all the necessary approvals.
A process that has taken NAG, many months so far.
That material will have to either be stored, or remediated to an acceptable environmental outcome, and I would add, at a very substantial cost per tonne.
Common sense should prevail, as we have an ideal answer, which also remediates a couple of old open cut gold mining pits, back to usable farmland.
We can take approx. 6.2 million tonnes @ commercially less, than $140.00 per tonne.
Time will tell of course, but I would venture that there will be no dumping of ASS and PASS, in the bay.
Talk about stirring up a greenies nest. lol
