I think the "10c divvie" business was first raised as an assumption a couple of years ago. It was an assumption based on a certain amount of PASS finding its way to the Nagambie Pits for a certain amount of money per tonne from
"Melbourne’s infrastructure and apartment construction boom requiring a lot of digging up of stuff that goes by the fancy name of potential acid sulfate soils (PASS)"
It was "The Australian" to first raise the issue
http://www.theaustralian.com.au/bus...p/news-story/31e21897268594a3df01df3cb8a79ccb
"But at the planned acceptance rate of one million tonnes annually, what would be left over from a $140 a tonne tipping charge makes for a potentially very lucrative earner for the company. More so than a comparable mining operation at these short of commodity prices, that’s for sure."
So - 1 million tonnes x $140 per tonne = $140 million per year according to The Australian
So is a 10c divvie based on these assumptions possible? YES
Thanks for raising the issue once more JL.
