The amount of buyers and sellers is more lipstick than a lot of things. Not sure how you do things but I don't always declare my hand when buying or selling, especially if it's going to be relatively large to what's already on the board. Many people hover and then swoop in when the price looks right. Other times you may park a buy or sell and then just wait, in which case it will register as a buyer waiting. But I've also withdrawn the orders plenty of times too if things don't look right.
Buyers and Sellers to me are a confirming or even lagging indicator rather than leading.
Sometimes JL we discuss like it's from different planets but I wore the same frustrations as you through the big price drop, it wasn't any fun for me either. But I'm not going to pull the pin now that the recent price action is finally showing tangible bullish signs, being higher highs and higher lows matched by a small increase in volume.
