If you've seen my other posts you would know I've been the doubting Thomas on most of this gravel business. It's always worried me that it was a distraction from the main game(s) and profitability looked marginal when your only customers were local, probably due to no economies of scale in the amount rolling out the door.

I must say that if they are pressing forward with this monster machine then short of being financially suicidal they must have some very good confidence levels in some large orders to fill to keep it and its operator busy. I hope it comes off, will be exciting if it does. One thought crossed my mind is that it would be just the thing to keep the volume up if back-filling of trucks became viable.

Don't want to get ahead of myself but you'd have to think something is brewing if they sign-up for this monster. If so it should be an interesting announcement when it comes.
