MEDIA RELEASE AND ASX ANNOUNCEMENT 24th June 2004 Launch Date Announced for ‘Revolution’ Prepaid Platform Natural Intelligence Limited’s (ASX: NAI) acquisition of Revolution Telecom Pty Ltd (Revolution) late last year strengthened the Company’s position in the telecommunications industry by providing a clear path of entry into the growing prepaid market segment. Through the acquisition, the Company now has the ability to resell Vodafone airtime using its own brands and tariffs. This complete outsourced solution is scheduled for launch on 12 July 2004. The customer proposition will be delivered through non-traditional marketing and distribution channels. The Board of NAI considers that once launched, Revolution will send a fresh and compelling approach to the prepaid market. Over the past six months the Revolution team has been working through the Vodafone Mobile Virtual Network Operator (“MVNO”) development program, under the direction of the Vodafone wholesale project team. The testing program for the prepaid platform will be completed during June, allowing development on track for the July launch. Using the same reseller prepaid platform Revolution can also allow branded corporate customers to offer a prepaid service under their own corporate brand. Revolution is continuing to develop such opportunities particularly in the branded Fast Moving Consumer Goods (“FMCG”) market which it expects will crystallise over the coming months. Revolution has also signed an agreement with Vodafone to operate as a Value Added Reseller (“VAR”) for the Vodafone Target™ program in Australia. This enables Revolution to offer an additional service to its corporate customers. Being a VAR, Revolution provides corporate customers an additional avenue to communicate with their customer base. Vodafone Target™ offers an easy approach to innovative marketing via mobile. The portfolio provides access to mobile marketing services for the Australian marketplace that are internationally proven and active. The opportunities delivered through Vodafone Target deliver marketing solutions that have the potential to engage all mobile users on Australian networks, not just Vodafone customers – a potential audience of approximately 14.1 million mobile phone subscribers.
