Bragg, It's doubtful that anyone who posts here and doesn't accept the mantra of Prana being in the top ranks of biotech and their CEO and BOD as executing perfectly (lol) is in reality a paid basher, shareholder or not. Why would anyone want to pay someone to "bash" a secretive unproductive outfit like Prana Biotech who sometimes seem like their own worst enemy by not acting expeditiously? Bashers aren't needed.
In addition, some seemingly conniving posters use the well-worn point that they are being held back by the FDA who pushes inferior companies with inferior products ahead of the more-deserving Prana and PBT2 (lol). Those who are married to the stock despite the fact that with each passing year there are such obvious signs of financial deterioration with no partners. There's not much visible interest in a timely attempt to have their very FIRST therapeutic recommended for commercialization by the FDA or any other drug regulator in the world.
The fact that the company does not provide easily-found information about insider ownership and transactions is a red flag, especially for nonAustralians who are used to the more transparent workings of exchanges like NASDAQ. Even NASDAQ doesn't have much information about the workings of PRAN. So many questions remain unanswered as large and small shareholders drop out. As the system is now, the likelihood of ever getting more democratic feedback from the executives and directors seems to be bleak. Do they ever seek input from shareholders as to forming the Agenda for the Annual Shareholders' Meeting? Would they consider placing shareholders' concerns on the Agenda for a vote as other public companies do?
Partners are very seriously needed. An organization as small and as negligent time-wise as Prana simply cannot go it alone. Who can blame those with deep pockets for choosing to work with going concerns whom they see as having better chances of success?
