    You don't need to hold till the 9th...once a stock goes ex-diviend, you can sell it and still be entitled to the dividend.

    By the way...NMB is showing "ex" on the bourds, whilst NMBCD is showing "cum".

    If you want the dividend, I suggest NMBCD is what you need to buy.
