IMO I know shorting creates liquidity in a stock which is good but the shorting game turns 'investor' towards a 'gambler'... sometimes interchangeable but can lead to easier manipulation. However, at the end of the day big stocks like PLS will eventually get to their true value regardless of shorters. You can't keep short postions forever.
I look at it like this @ThinkMillions if shorters are on the rise (www.shortman.com) and the share price is stagnant and not getting dumped then this IMO is good for the stock in the medium term as they have to buy back. If that makes sense?
