Perhaps it's all hands on deck for CETO 6. They've probably learnt everything they were going to learn from CETO 5 by now, so what's the point in keeping it going when it drains resources that could be used elsewhere? The fact there are multiple CETO 6 and microgrid projects in the works supported by public funding is a pretty good indication that CETO 5 has been a success IMO. I don't see the move towards microgrids as scaling back on wave energy - it's a natural complement that fits the needs of the island / remote community market.
