    Surely additional operational time might uncover points of failure that they might not have anticipated (or better still no point of failure), and also I thought they were supposed to be paid for power and water they produce (unless the amount of power and water is so small as to be not worth it, which would be a bit of a concern!). Not to mention more bragging rights for operational time..
