    That China imported more gold than others means very little.

    The Shanghai Index is at its lowest since Feb. 2009, commodity prices are falling rapidly, and of course, Asians are notorious gamblers.

    I noticed the other day that 5 out of 10 of the largest skyscrapers in the world are currently under construction in China, and some are invoking the dreaded 'Skyscraper Index'.
