1. Had to or no one else would have come in (underewriters would have been sold on commitment of executive)
2. The CR was the tipping point for Lynas. Everyone now knows that the ability to raise capital has been exhausted with a pathetic 1/3 take up rate of CR. Until that point no one (inc Nick) knew that Lynas ability to attract investment was finite (although many speculated).
