Savanah know that their court action is not only affecting the SP but it also gums up everything including finance and moving ahead with the project. Thats just what Savanah want.

To be rid of them is worth many millions to BMN and shareholders. The court process also has to follow procedures and these take time and they can also cause delays to a decision being reached (if their court system is anything like Australia).

So what do you do? Some companies take the attitude its cheaper to pay them off and get rid of them. Others may escalate the stakes by counter claims and asking for damages so the other side faces financial ruin if they fail .. it might make them back off unless they are very serious and believe in their claim. In any case BMN will try to fast track it as much as possible but there is always an element of doubt with the outcome no matter who small.
