The idea is good, but hard not to by a bit cynical.

I have now seen a couple of negative comments being put out by Paladin, through Namibain newspapers, to try and cast doubts on future mines. This is another attempt.

Then there's been the recent "Australian sources" informing the Namibian newspaper, The Economist, that Rio is preparing to buy EXT, on behalf of Rossing. Looks like the Economist is becoming the rumour spreader of choice

Back to BEE, I do not know how 2.1 M people in Namibia intend to fund Billions of dollars in capex, in the next 5 years. I think the 3% royalty and 37% tax is equitable.
