And now it's back down around 12 cents, or a bit over half of yesterday's gains.

That's why I don't tend to get too excited about jumps or dips. If they're particularly large, I might want to know why the share price moved so much, so quickly - and sometimes, that reveals information that changes my desire to hold the stock (buy more, sell out, etc.) But otherwise... eh. Stocks go up, stocks go down. That's the market. I'm in it for the long haul, and in the long haul, a quality stock will win out, typically without making much fanfare or noise along the way.

Which is why I still hold Nanosonics, despite sitting on a very handy paper profit: I think there's still room to grow.

Of course, if you're in it as a day trader, it's a different story. But that isn't my game.
