Horses used to rule once too, NYC had tones of horse shit on its streets every day, technology improves, i can assure you we won't be driving petrol cars in 50-100 years time. There are already large numbers of electric cars getting around, in the future petrol cars will just be for collector clubs antiques etc, and of course racing as we need the sound.
