Today's temperatures are not unprecedented or alarming and have very little to do with the industrial revolution.
It's the planet.
It warms a bit then cools a bit.
Much like the remora fish thinks that it controls the shark, ditto the flea and the dog, ditto man and the planet.
The trillions wasted on attempting to be weather gods would be much better spend on giving millions electricity and, thus, the ability to regulate their home temperature. The also helps were the planet to cool, as was predicted in the 1970s.
