yes but trade is shifting very slowly away from China, textiles especially. Regardless consumption is a big part of the problem that is also easily mitigated through recycled products but sadly there are always those that want new new new and buy excessively such without a thought for the pollution it causes and the co2 pumped into the atmosphere
