well the first thing that pops to my mind with those boring desolate planets are the resources, some that may be rare on earth may be abundant on other planets lol
thats big money for the ultra rich that'll have the funds to be able to make that sort of travel, probably just a few families that own all the major corporations & banks across the world that'll get in on that though lol
