If anything I would presume that Recce's 327 has the ability to bind to SARS-CoV-2 while it is floating around in bio-fluids. This also presumably binds to the spike proteins while they are in storage mode.
The molecule discussed in the Science paper: [SARSHRC-PEG4]2-chol, binds the the unrolling spike proteins while they are actually in the process of attacking the cell's wall.
I don't know if it is active as a general killing agent which Recce's 327/529 molecules presumably are. But this may confer additional benefits to Recce 327.
