Thank you for your email.Firstly, could you please confirm if the shares are held electronically or in a share certificate format? As we do not facilitate the holding and trading of certificated shares, you will have to ensure that the shares are held electronically before transferring them over.
In order to transfer your international stock to nabtrade, you will have to ensure the following:
- The transfer must not constitute a change of beneficial owner, for example the transfer must be in the same name. - The stock must be tradeable on nabtrade. - You must have a nabtrade international trading account set up with no restrictions.
If these are all satisfied, you can then send in a signed written request as well as a copy of a recent holding statement of the stock/s to be transferred in.
Please ensure that the signed written request contains the following: - Name and contact details of existing broker where the stock to be transferred is currently held (Name of broker, name of contact, if any email address or phone number). - Current account details of account held with the other broker (Account name and number). - nabtrade account details (Account name and NT number). - Details of stock/s to be transferred (Stock name, Code, ISIN and quantity). - Wet signature (pen to paper) as we do not accept digital signatures
