Why would I as a LT holder lend my shares to a program that facilitates shorting which will in turn hurts the SP for the stock that i hold LT?!!!
Even if one is ST holder then they are holding this stock for profit. Shorting or participating in a program that facilitates shorting is mindless! ... specially when MSB is doing fine to yield in mid term.
