It is not that simple, markrt cap is not the only criteria for inclusion to the S&P/ASX 200.
The share needs to pass both the Market Cap + Liquidity Criterion.
There are calculations & time period requirments which I'm not familiar with.
Some long funds are specialised on calculating the probability of stock being included in the index.
They ride the price appreciation journey to final inclusion & then they bail out afterword.
