Assumption is all 22 million suffers will be working US citizens. Is this possible?
Medicare is not free in US, Medicare drug coverage helps pay for prescription drugs and coverage is optional and offered to everyone with Medicare.
The user have to be able to afford the coverage. To get Medicare drug coverage, user must join a Medicare-approved plan that offers drug coverage. Each plan can vary in cost and specific drugs covered.
Systems in US is not renowned for their generosity and corporation is definitely out there to make a buck. Not every suffers will be able to afford the drug. Assuming 22 million of suffers will buy the drug is setting the expectations to high and unrealistic.
