Even block trades have rules and time restraints. To be reported this morning it had to happen in overnight trade.
If I was a betting man, overseas buyer wanting non-US listed stock. Could be tax reasons, could be anything. Perhaps the ADR market is still a little thin.
1.163 rough and ready is the same as US$7.75 ADR, which is where MESO spent half the night.
Buyer phones up broker, broker sells at ADR equivalent price for ASX listed shares
Broker buys back shares on the ASX if they don't have any in their book.
