    No mate.

A myocardial Infarction is simply as it says 'death of heart muscle' - it dies by lack of blood flow when the coronary arteries are occluded and / or their elasticity is compromised by excess sugar, fat or calcium (amongst others). The heart muscle cannot be 'reborn' after a very very short timespan has passed.

CCF is heart 'function' - often the myocardium is intact but the 'chamber' is so distended, or the electrical pathway so corrupted, that it pumps inefficiently.

With medication (simplistic again) the heart can pump 'better' and reduce the effects.

This is very simplistic but the key difference.

The only point I wanted to make was that Revascor was being touted as getting a piece of the massive CABG surgical budget pie.

It isn't, so people shouldn't factor that in.

Anything else about these two conditions is easily found on google, or if you're* still not convinced, you can come to work with me for a day.
