Something is wrong. Very wrong.
I don’t know exactly what but, when a company with good quality in-ground assets that has commenced sales (in our case, LNG) and has clearly got expenses under control is sold off like stale fish, there is something wrong.
My theory (and I could be completely wrong here) is that it is geopolitical in nature.
Here we have a major SH that is Chinese. We also have a company that is producing an essential product needed by the USA. The USA will lend cash to scale up development of Phase 2.
BUT; look at the recent expressions of bile and venom by the USA against China. The USA might not want to fund something that comes partly under Chinese control.
I am open to hearing other explanations for the selloff.
