Jn, I think you misinterpret where I was going. I'm an engineer. I'm not a "believer"! The point I was getting at is that some people that have been promoting a product for a long time become blind to "alternatives" (I don't mean non scientific alternatives). I just mean better stuff.
An example I use is an older surgeon that uses a specific technique that he is comfortable with but may have been superseded with a newer technique that a younger surgeon uses. The older guy isn't doing a bad job its just that the younger lass maybe doing a better job
