There's big money in the US so a Nasdaq listing helps Wayne access that capital. The $20 million raise done earlier this year was with a New York investment firm. It may take as much as $175 million (but hopefully a good bit less) to get the DurAVR through clinical trials and to the point where significant revenue is generated. And of course institutions and those with deep pockets who chip in tens of millions are going to get a discount to the prevailing share price.
The good news is that if everything goes to plan, we should be below 25 million shares fully diluted at commercialization so that means there is still a massive opportunity for us plebes but we all have to decide individually along the way what is the best way to handle our investment in the company.
