One of the Tesla Youtuber channels Sean Mitchell has had several interviews with the CEO of Piedmont and is now sponsored by Piedmont going back months, back them Piedmont was really pitching and promoting themselves to Tesla and Tesla does watch the mai Youtube channels not only for content bust also for the comments as a feedback and market research tool.
Same as Novonix and Talga, I think it was the Limiting Factor ( A New Zealander who does real in depth battery and battery materials analysis) that was doing in depth discussions with them back when NVX was only .50c.
I was a bit broke and didn't snap them up
