Looks like PLL are not interested in any further offtake agreements similar to the agreement made with Tesla.
From what I gather, PLL wishes to turn their own spodumene in to Lithium Hydroxide and sell it this way.
The deal with Tesla has brought validation to the PLL brand which makes them a key figure in the Lithium market.
I think not signing any further offtake agreements for spodumene with other companies allow PLL to sell and possibly make more beneficial Lithium Hydroxide agreements.
Not sure if there are many other companies like Tesla which look to do the dirty work of making the Lithium from concentrate.
Great future ahead for Piedmont.
