In my opinion its the Australian action(ASX) currently relevant.
The PRR stock register is made up of stacks of relatively smaller retail investors with only 13.2% being in the top 20 according to the 2011 annual report. Regrettably in these situations it would not surprise me of ploys to secure the shares of the many mum and dad investors cheaply. If someone has $10K or $20k invested it may not seem much to some but to the individuals concerned it may represent a lot of their hard earned. IMO In those circumstances its only natural that they easily get spooked when the sp appears to weaken, whether through manipulation or normal market forces.
Someone posted previously that when more bigger players appear on the register with a substantial holding that could help the sp. Until then I believe the games and volatility will continue.
Positive results of course should be the key driver regardless of who is on the register and I look forward to those when they arrive.
The Nasdaq listing is complete and we now need MORE good news to arouse the interest of the USA and more importantly Australian investors.
