MadMacs, good call on the resistance of US1.00. On a bad Dow and Oil day there were always going to be US profit takers heading to the US long weekend even with another day to go. Same may well happen here.

I was surprised on the on the ASX how easily SSN went through 5c yesterday and reasonably assured at the strongish finish at 5.2c.

in my view there are a couple of scenarios that can happen today although I am talking with 1 hour of US markets remaining.

Friday is always traders profit day so I am looking for a Gary Update or other positive news from SSN today. The ADR price has, at this moment essentially held the previous days trade on very good volume. This tells me that there is underlying confidence in this stock and clearly expressed by other posters.

If the ADRs have a strong close which I think will happen then hold with confidence over the longer term.
