I didn't like it myself, but when a seller is ready to sell, there is nothing you and I, nor the ASX, can do. If a seller wants to sell, and the market is willing to buy then the ASX has no powers to stop it. Unless of course it has been done fraudulently. As to how it can be proved it would be an impossibility though.
Besides the seller could have sold for any sorts of reasons unknown to us. It could also have been the case that they were happy with the profits and while in urgent need of funds to park elsewhere, they decided to sell off.
How many investors write constantly on these forums "Don't fall in love with a stock" ?? I am not a trader, but I have seen that a lot.
Don't let this small hiccup bother you, if you have faith in FMG. It could be just a storm in a tea cup.
