Nathan Drona has successfully managed over 30 mergers and acquisitions assignments for international companies. He is a specialist in the global life sciences industry and has been directly responsible for the origination of numerous M&A transactions for both public and private companies.

Nathan is an expert in cross-border M&A, corporate valuation, financial analysis and due diligence. He has frequently delivered strategic advisory presentations to boards including fairness opinions and has written numerous reports on biotechnology which are widely distributed in the international financial community.

In addition, Nathan originated and successfully managed the execution of the first acquisition of a US biotech by an Australian company which led to the award "Pharmaceuticals Buy-Side M&A Advisor of the Year" by Frost & Sullivan.

Nathan was formerly the head of mergers and acquisitions at Global Markets Capital Group in New York, in addition to senior experience at RBC Capital Markets, Evans & Evans and Accenture. He was also a director of a publicly listed merchant banking company.

Nathan holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Victoria, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (Logic) from the University of Western Ontario. He also studied finance at Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, France, and at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Nathan has been awarded the designation of Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) and is a practitioner member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) in the United States.
