Been a long time since I sold out of AVX.. The day Drona canned ATC I sold out at .03 or .04 can't remember now. I was foolish enough to take up some of the last rights issue at about 15c lol.

The thing with ATC is that all the company ann's up to the canning of their lead molecule ATC where very positive. When it went into a trading halt prior to the ann, most people where thinking the ann would be that a partner for ATC had been found lol. The opposite happened and the SP has never recovered since. There was a also a cap raise before ATC was canned.

I have a read of this thread every now and then for old times sakes and a bit of a laugh.

At the time Drona was appointed his resume had him being the founder of an investment banking firm but that company doesn't appear to exist now ?

He was seen at the time by shareholders as the right man for the job with his investment banking & M&A bakground to find AVX a big pharma partner to take ATC to market but that never happened.

I don't know if he inherited the poisened challis that was ATC when he came aboard AVX. Perhaps by canning ATC he has also preserved some shareholder value ?

I didn't like the fact he either bought zero shares or very few. But its not uncommon to see lots of directors of penny dreadfulls not taking a stake with their own cold hard cash.
