i think when it comes to money and investing, emotions cloud judgement quite easily, a few weeks ago when we were 1.05++ we were all happy as larry and we all though :"$2 here we come" but the general market is worried so they sell out of fear, look at the DJ, if you bought at the peak before the last crash, and held on today, you would be much higher!
its easy to look at hindsight and say "obviously i would buy Cocacola if it fell 30% back in 07/08" but at the time panic was amongst them and they followed the heard and sold off with them.
I think we are at the stage where we just need to sit back, relax and just let this month unfold and see where it takes us.
I agree though, its boring,
