This can mean many things to many people.
Ms P Credlin had a very close relationship with Mr abbott. Indeed it was commented that Ms Credlin wanted to sit in on Cabinet meetings to assist Mr Abbott.
At the time of the spill there were reports that Mr Turnbull had many unique thoughts on 18c reform. It appears to have been part of the spill. There was some dissatisfaction that Mr Abbott had walked away. It is not clear how Ms Credlin viewed this retreat. The media statement said Mr Abbott wanted unity in Austalian society. It is not clear if this was Ms Credlin's advice.
What is clear however is that Mr Turnbull as a lawyer was unhappy with the clumsy nature of the 18c drafting
