You're trying to assert that John Howard was good for Australia when the harsh reality is that he was on the WRONG side of history - choose anything you like except for gun control and Howard was an absolute bluddy DISASTER!
Howard's legacy is the extent to which he made Australia's wealthiest people much wealthier and prostituted Australia to the USA and the UK - he $Fed $Greed to the detriment of Aussie Battlers and committed Australia to ideologically inspired warmongering.
Now that's what history will eventually report about Howard to future generations.
