History records that Abbott is a product of BF Santamaria [a devout Catholic who was the heart & soul of the now defunct Democratic Labor Party]. Abbott's ideological impact on the Liberal Party has been as profound as the rise on federal funding for 'private schools'.
Of course upon becoming PM Morrison declared his absolute faith in Pentecostals. Video of him 'worshipping' at Hillsong was unleashed on Australians and Morrison even sought access to Trump's White House for his great mate, Brian Houston. Morrison's Cabinet became infested with Pentecostals and they sought to wield power over the Liberal Party in NSW, WA & SA in particular.
Well there's news tonight that Morrison's beloved Hillsong Church / Pentecostals are alleged to have laundered $Countless $MIllions of Australian taxpayers' money. It's my view that this exposes of yet another chapter in how Australia no longer honours its core values ... we've lost our moral compass and abandoned a 'fair go and equal opportunity for all'.
Now we have a federal government heavily funding religiously inspired segregation / apartheid and societal disintegration via taxpayer funded private schools - ~33% of our kids now attend grossly overfunded and unaccountable 'private schools' while ~67% of our kids have been abandoned to grossly under-resourced public schools and badly exploited public school teachers.
Today Jason Clare hosted a forum supposedly focused on making teaching more appealing and respected - what a farce!
