A National Dental plan has always been shelved because the cost is outrageous for the benefit gained.
The present voucher system for teenagers seems to work well in the preventative sense.
Maybe that's where resources should be aimed at....prevention and dental education which can be carried through by the expansion of the current voucher system eg. add 5 years to the plan every 5 years.
But no one wants to go to a dentist do they?
