No i can't kippa5, they won't hire me because of my back injury, even though i hold the relevant certificates, the assistance i give as a carer is to take care of my father-in-laws financial requirements, drive him to the doctors ensure he has adequate medication and cook his meals, i am unable to do any lifting, i cannot sit or stand for long periods of time, i have a list of qualifications as long as your arm, fortunately for me i have a loving and caring family that appreciates everything that i am able to do, but it seems no one is willing to hire a person who has had a previous history of back injury.
Money isn't the primary issue, the issue is the lack of assistance to people in the same position as myself, we all want to contribute to society and have a meaningful life, most in my position do that as volunteers, it keeps us out of the house and reasonably active.
