What evidence do u have for that? Has IFN done well 4 u? If it has, your return profile is lesser than mine.
Well, I invested long in ERA at the time and it has done much better than IFN. In fact, virtually all the energy and utility companies r doing better, AGL, ORG, ERA, BHP/BLT, WPL, SXY, RIO.
IFN has lagged those others and the chart shows a retracement unlike the others: most companies on the ASX have a TO bid happened, happening or speculated about but on IFN, there is just the debt, the politics from the SA Government vs Federal Government and the blackouts arguably caused by wind turbine reliance or perhaps not depending on ur political persuasion.
But is not IFN underperforming the market beta for the sector, how do u refute that? As a stock selection, IFN is a speculative play IMHO, interest rates should fall (if the RBA works out the true growth rate) but if they go up as some predict, IFN will have a few wee issues IMHO but pls DYOR.
