It has come to our attention that there is considerable interest in a stock on our exchange known as Molopo Australia Limited (code MPO), whereby one of your members has declared that the shares should ideally reach 62c by the 26th September, 2007, in order that he may make a small profit in his investment.
We have decided to honour that proposal by naming that day National Molopo Day and will be organising celebrations in each State accordingly. We have arranged for a bill to be passed in Parliament to cement this historic event so that future generations will come to understand the significance of the day. Our grandfathers had Anzac Day – we shall have Molopo Day – difficult to pronounce, we know, but exciting to follow. It is perhaps of further signifance that on this day back in 1983 Australia defeated America to win the America's Cup - another legendary milestone. This, however, will pale by comparison with the achievement of Molopo reaching 62c by that very same day.
We recognise that this will have a major impact on all Australians who have been reticent to invest in the stock market in the past, and when they come to know of this great achievement, they too, will feel that they can perhaps achieve the same astonishing returns.
